In May this year, the China Foundry Association organized and held an expert review meeting for the "Top 20 Chinese Die-casting Mold Manufacturing Enterprises in Comprehensive Strength". Ten enterprises from our district were selected, accounting for half of the list, with a total output value of over 900 million yuan. From 2006 to 2016, among the 36 molds recommended by the China Mould Industry Association for the application of national new products, 19 were from Beilun Mould, accounting for more than 50% of the national die-casting molds. The leading position of the mould strong district has been further highlighted.

At present, our district has over 1,000 die-casting machines of various types, with a total tonnage exceeding 300,000 tons. The number of die-casting machines with a capacity of over 1,000 tons ranks first in our city. The total manufacturing volume of die-casting parts holds a dominant position in East China, and the product quality and precision have reached the advanced level both at home and abroad. In recent years, the number of die-cast products has been increasing year by year, and the quality of die-cast products has been continuously improving. World-renowned manufacturers such as German BOSCH and TTI, Tesla, Chrysler, and Mahle have all chosen Beilun enterprises as suppliers of die-cast products.

The rapid development of die-casting parts in our district has promoted the development of die-casting molds. Currently, we have over 1,000 various types of processing centers. In addition, more than 200 sets of advanced precision processing machines and testing equipment such as CNC high-speed milling machines, slow wire EDM machines, electrical discharge machines, deep hole drilling machines, three-coordinate measuring machines, mold closing machines, and electronic universal testing machines have been imported from Japan, the United States, Germany, Italy, Sweden and other countries. There are also over 30 five-axis machining centers worth more than 3 million yuan. The number of various advanced equipment is still increasing, and the overall technical equipment is in a leading position in the country. The rapid improvement of technological levels has led to the accelerated emergence of a large number of leading and backbone enterprises. Such as Ningbo Xusheng Automotive Technology Co., LTD., Ningbo Xunhui Electrical Appliance Co., LTD., Beilun Huiwang Casting Mold Industry Co., LTD., and Ningbo Huashuo Mold Machinery Co., LTD., etc., have become the leaders in the development of the die-casting sub-industry.

Ningbo Xunhui Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. is an enterprise integrating mold design, mold manufacturing, parts die-casting, surface treatment and precision processing. It possesses 15 sets of die-casting equipment of various international renowned brands, over 20 high-speed and high-precision machining centers, and more than 40 CNC lathes. More than 30 sets of high-precision electrical discharge machining machines, over 10 sets of surface treatment equipment, and more than 30 sets of other precision special-purpose equipment. It also possesses multiple three-coordinate measuring machines, spectrometers and other precision metrology equipment, and is the designated supporting manufacturer for internationally renowned enterprises such as "BOSCH", "RYOBI", "Panasonic" and other well-known domestic and foreign manufacturers. After 30 years of development, the enterprise has become a high-tech enterprise in the city and is also one of the enterprises with the strongest comprehensive strength and the fastest development speed in the "mold and aluminum die-casting industry" in our district.
